Course overview:
This course explores the principles of health and well-being from an Islamic perspective. It highlights Qur'anic and Prophetic teachings on physical, mental, and spiritual health, as well as modern applications of these guidelines in daily life. Students will learn how Islam integrates preventive care, hygiene, balanced living, and spiritual practices to maintain a healthy body and soul.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify the Qur’anic and Prophetic principles related to health, hygiene, nutrition, and well-being.
- Explain the Islamic perspective on maintaining balance between physical, mental, and spiritual health.
- Apply Islamic health guidelines to daily routines, including diet, cleanliness, rest, and emotional regulation.
- Recognize the importance of preventive care and moderation as emphasized in Islamic teachings.
- Integrate spiritual practices—such as prayer, dhikr, and gratitude—into a holistic health approach.
