Tajweed ( Level 2 ) is designed to deepen students’ understanding of the correct pronunciation of the Qur’anic letters and help them develop greater accuracy and confidence in Qur’an recitation.

The course begins with a detailed study of Makharij al-Huruf (the articulation points of the letters), focusing on where and how each Arabic letter is produced. Students will study the main articulation areas, with particular attention to Al-Shafatan (the lips), Al-Khaishum (the nasal passage), and Al-Lisan (the tongue).

The course then introduces Sifat al-Huruf (the characteristics of the letters), including characteristics with opposites and without opposites. Understanding these characteristics enables students to distinguish between letters that have similar articulation points and to pronounce each letter with its correct qualities.

Students will also study At-Tafkhim and At-Tarqiq (heaviness and lightness) and learn how to apply these important rules correctly during Qur’an recitation.

Throughout the course, students will combine theoretical knowledge with practical recitation and application of Tajweed rules.

By the End of the Course

Students will be able to recite the Qur’an with improved accuracy, proper pronunciation, and correct application of the Tajweed rules studied in the course.
